Match Report - First Team v Clacton United

With the first team injury list up to nine players now, and the reserves on six, it is a massive task to put out 2 sides at the moment, but the football club still attracts new players to sign on, and a combination of this and juggling the pack to fulfil the fixtures is the aim that is being achieved at the moment.

Not surprisingly the results are being affected, both sides losing by 2 goals to nil this week. The first team losing to Clacton Utd, and the reserves to Old Chelmfordians in the Essex Junior cup.

The 1st team gave away possession cheaply in the first half which resulted in the first goal, and the second came after a long ball was not dealt with at the back and left a tap in for the second.

Colne put together a decent move at the death which Will White headed over from close range when well placed.
