Match Report - First Team v Bradfield Rovers

Earls Colne were denied any points on Saturday by the heroics of visiting goalkeeper Ashley Gray from Bradfield Rovers. Bradfield opened the scoring when Colne gave the ball away cheaply and the still impressive Marlon North drilled his shot under keeper James Felton.

25 minutes into the game the home side grabbed an equaliser when Bragg's neat ball into the box was met by Shane Exley who made no mistake continuing his goal a game ratio. But then for the rest of the game it was all about goalkeeper Gray as he stopped everything that was hit at him, Bradfield sneaking a goal in between saves, Coote, Exley, White, Saunders and others all failing to beat the keeper and even shots rebounded out from defenders backs and one off of Burlong's hip over the bar.

It was not going to be Colne's day as they suffered their first defeat of the campaign.
