The pitch was passed fit after morning work by the ground staff. Lesiak and Theedom returned to the side, and Robinson was added to the bench. It was a scruffy game with the wind blowing and not much football played by either side. The only goal of the game came after Burle had pinged in a number of corners, and Paul Davies was at the far post to head one of these home in the 1st half. There were not many other clear chances. Robinson was introduced in the second period but was soon leaving the field after a boot to the face knocked the player out. Scruffy, but another 3 points for Colne.
